Since 1971, Jindalee Jags has been a major part of the Australian Rules Football scene of Brisbane's Western Corridor. We are a family club and have been so for over 50 years, being the first sporting club in what is now known as the Centenary Suburbs.
As a mainstay in the Centenary Suburbs and the Western Suburbs of Brisbane, the club has grown substantially, especially in the last 10 years, and across all age groups from Auskick to Seniors. In the 2025 season we expect to have over 20 teams registered.
The commitment of our committee, coaches, managers, and all other volunteers ensures all players have a rewarding and enjoyable experience throughout their years with Jags. We go above and beyond to involve parents and care-givers so they can make the most of the valuable time they have with their children and enjoy the supportive and social environment of the Aussie Rules Football community.

As well as being the first club in the Centenary Suburbs (1971), Jags were the first club in the Brisbane region to recognise the interest and potential of girls and women in Australian Rules Football. For many years we had the most girls and women playing at a club in Brisbane. In the 2025 youth space, we expect to field U13s, U15s and U17s teams, we'll also see a return of our 2024 Premiership Winning Senior Women's Team.
Last year, Jindalee Jags became an early adopter of the Women & Girls community Football Charter (the first club in Australia to sign on). We have reviewed our standards and our wins, and have planned a clear path to ensure we achieve higher standards and more wins over the coming years. The club has signed and committed to a charter which has set a path towards equity in opportunities, visibility, access and investment for women and girls in all aspects of the football club.

Jags were also the first club in Brisbane to offer an All-Abilities Program, which is run on Friday afternoons during the football season.
Again for 2025, Jags will be offering some of the cheapest registration fees; it’s our commitment to our families and players to ensure as many kids and adults as possible can play AFL. We naturally encourage and accept the State Government’s $200 FairPlay Voucher for those eligible.
All players from the U8s to Seniors receive a free Club Polo, team photo, and other inclusions as a part of their registration pack. New players are always welcome and encouraged to enjoy AFL at the Jags.
Registrations are open via the links on the Registrations Pages:
To make payments easier financially this year, PayPal's Pay in 4 option has been integrated in PlayHQ (which handles all Queensland AFL Registrations).
