Junior & Youth Registrations

The AFL Junior and Youth Football Programs are for all kids aged 8.5 years to 17.5 years at 01/07/2026.

At the Jags, we do our best to offer a friendly fee structure to ensure as many children as possible can enjoy playing team sports... especially AFL. For the 2026 season, the committee have worked hard to keep costs as low as possible to help out all Jags families. We're happy to announce that the registration cost for AFL Junior and Youth Football Programs have only had a minor increase and with the $200 Queensland Government's Play On! Sports Vouchers now available to all Queensland families that have a Medicare card, AFL with the Jags is much more affordable.

All new player registrations require proof of age.

This may be a copy of a birth certificate, extract of birth certificate, passport, or a letter on the child’s school letterhead confirming the date of birth. This can now just be sighted by a club representative. New registrations are not complete until the proof of age document is viewed.

QLD Government's Play On! Sports Vouchers

We naturally accept and encourage eligible families to use the State Government's $200 Play On! Sports Voucher. For more information on the vouchers please read on here...

Junior & Youth Registration Inclusions

Included in your registration for all Junior and Youth players:

  • Player registration with AFL Queensland
  • Platinum level player insurance (does not include wage replacement insurance)
  • A Jags polo shirt to wear pre-game and to Jags events (2026 Design Coming Soon)
  • A team photo and player medallion on presentation day

Transfers From Other Clubs

We are unable to accept transfers before 1st February for players coming from other clubs.
